From Tripadvisor.com Significantly, all the rave reviews are by professionals - it is that good!

My family and my business favorite for over 23 years, Enzo’s is probably one of the best Italian Restaurants, if not just the best restaurant, in Florida. It is significant that previous reviews in this Tripadvisor spot are links to professional “foodies” – it is a truly exceptional restaurant with splendid food and very professional – if friendly- service. I first started to use it for Business entertaining in 1984 and my guests raved as much as I did – so do my family, including the international visitors, all have all been treated to a meal by the lake.

And what a lake – secret and tucked away in the midst of commerce, Enzo’s on the Lake has gorgeous gardens lakeside – and adding to the ambience for special occasions, there is even a lakeside bar. We recently (April 2008) returned for a friend’s Golden Wedding celebration – the food was fantastic with not the tiniest hint there were over 50 of us – or that they were catering another special occasion of the same size in the other function hall, and maintaining all the regular diners in the main room! Not many fine-dining places can be so well managed. A telling sign – some of the staff have been there even since my first visit. It is a good business that can boast that!

The menu progresses from cheese-pastry nibbles at the cocktail bar through Antipasto to Pasta to “Fantasie” plates to glorious deserts (made right there in their kitchen). Founded by Enzo Perlini who came from Rome Enzo’s has won awards for its evolving cuisine – always significant – always fresh.

If you like true European dining – take an unhurried tour de Gastronomique from cocktail to cheeseboard.

From CitySearch.com For a surreal dining experience evoking moments of bliss....

I have driven by Enzos for years and had heard great things about it. You can see Enzo's(the privacy wall anyways) on your left as you travel up 17-92 (just past Dog Track Road) in Longwood. Well a few months ago my girlfriend Amanda and I went for dinner. From the moment we walked through the door we were engulfed in a warm, slight casual, romantic, family-like atmosphere. We stopped shortly at the cozy little bar in the front nook of the restauraunt for a pre-dinner drink. The bartender was so friendly, respectful and inviting.

Walking to our table, the decor seemed direct from "old Italy" including a huge wheel of parmigiano (over 100 lbs) near the front door. From our greeter to our exceptional server and service it felt like a vacation for a night. The only thing missing was a foot massage.haha. Our server(I think his name was Brandon) was like an old friend tending to our every need at just the right moment. We ordered a bottle of Penfolds and then some Carpaccio, Antipasti, Shitaki and even a Caeser Salad for starters and were utterly amazed by every exquisite bite. There couldn't have been a better way to prepare us for our entrees which included Fettucine Al' Aragosta E Gamberi(mine) with fettucine al dente in a light, silky, mouthwatering sauce with most generous portions of plump shrimp and lobster. Each bite was pure bliss. Amanda ordered the Abbacchio Del Duca which is a lamb-rack cooked to absolute perfection filled with shitake mushrooms and other delicious fresh herbs. Every succulent bite was extraordinary and the presentation was remarkable to say the least. Words truly cannot express how amazing our dining experience was.

One of Orlando’s best...

My husband an I recently ate at Enzo's gain for our date night. It is so special I cannot believe I have never written a review. The moment you walk in the door you are greeted like an old friend. The wait staff brings you antipasto, wine, bread, it is an amazing amount of food. The dover sole and pasta ala vodka are to die for. It is fun. romantic, lively, quaint and delicious. I think the prices are perfect for what you experience and the staff is always stellar. We eat here at least three times a year. I have gone with big groups, just the two of us and out of town guest. It never disappoints.

is the best restaurant in Orlando...”

This is the best restaurant in Orlando. Hands down. We have been going for years, and it has the most superior food, service and atmosphere around. Horacio and Susan make it feel like home. Thank God for Enzo's.
